About our Mission
Ollie was founded by Jon McEwen, who studied philosophy at the University of North Texas and creative writing at North Carolina State University. Jon built Ollie to make it easier for people to find genuine connections and communities. He believes this is especially important now, as in-person relationships grow more scarce and we spend more time in digital spaces, both organic and generated.
